Election Day (State Primary/County General Election) is Thursday, August 7, 2014.
Early voting for this election is Friday, July 18 through Saturday, August 2. I urge you to vote! Many of you have asked for my suggestions in the Williamson County School Board, 61st and 63rd State Rep races
We have a chance for the first time since we have been in existence to take our Williamson County School Board with 912ers and conservatives. There are some Board members not up for election this time who have been sheep and were more followers than leaders. With a majority, we may see several of these less distinguished school board members leave their prior stations in obedience to the chairwoman and find more strength to take a position they’ve quietly said was theirs. If we take the Board this time, we’ll know that our work has been worth it.
I am wild about the possibilities of these candidates. They are phenomenal men and women and I am being modest. Lee
If Lee lived in these districts, he would cast his ballot for:
School Board District 2: Dan Cash
School Board District 4: Paul Bartholomew (unopposed) 912er
School Board District 6: Jay Galbreath (unopposed) 912er
School Board District 8: Candy Emerson 912er
School Board District 10: Dr. Beth Burgos 912er
School Board District 12: Susan Curlee 912er
61st District, State House (Western Williamson County) – Steve Gawrys 912er
63rd District, State House (Eastern Williamson County) – Glen Casada
State Executive Committee Senate District 23 Becky Burke 912er(although a number of 912 women have made it clear that they prefer Paula Uhlir 912er)
State Executive Committee Senate District 23 State Executive Committee Senate District 23 James Amundsen 912er
