Tennessee introduces The Balance of Powers Act in BOTH Chambers!
The Tennessee legislature has introduced The Tennessee Balance of Powers Act in both the House and Senate for the 2013 session.
The joint bill is sponsored by House Rep. Judd Matheny and Senator Mae Beavers in the Senate. Please take a moment to thank these two conservative leaders for their dedication for protecting state and individual rights in Tennessee by leading the Balance of Powers Act into law in Tennessee.
Tennessee introduced the Balance of Powers Act in 2012 with broad support from the people of Tennessee. That bill was withdrawn under suspect conditions following a secret pre-Super Tuesday meeting with then presidential candidate Rick Santorum.

New 2013 sponsors of the bill, Beavers and Matheny, are not likely to allow such shenanigans again.
We are in contact with several others states preparing to introduce the act and will update everyone as the bills are officially introduced.
THANKS TO ALL WHO ARE WORKING TO MAKE OUR GOAL OF RESTORING THE CONSTITUTIONAL REPUBLIC A REALITY!

NALC now engaged in Delaware case regarding Sheriff’s Powers!

NALC has been asked to engage in a case to protect the constitutional powers of the County Sheriff’s and we will be providing a variety of support in this Delaware case with national implications.
This time it is Delaware Attorney General Beau  Biden, son of Vice President Joe Biden, sending out mandates to commissioners  informing them that their sheriffs no longer have arrest powers. In an opinion  released February 24, State  Solicitor L.W. Lewis said that neither the state nor the common law grants  arrest powers to the county sheriffs.
It would appear that Lewis is a little  confused. The office of sheriff was created more than a century before the  official founding of the United States. Delaware’s first sheriff took office in  1669.
